Stay At Home Mom

It’s my day off today and here I am digging on my drawer and segregating junk mails from other important document I got in the mail this past few weeks. I have been very busy doing errands after holidays and now is the time for me to clean up my drawer and itemize everything for better access later on. I so like organize surroundings but it’s hard to do it when you have a limited space in your house. I am just so ready to have a house with office room connected to the bedroom that way, I can put all my computer gadgets and organized drawers of documents in the same room.

I can’t believe the clutters it can make when you just dumped all your mails in the drawer and wait for few weeks before organizing it. I so hate the junk mails that I should have thrown away the very time I got it on the mail, but the thing is…I like to open and check it before throwing away to make sure there’s no important stuff on it. Besides I always try to shred all parts where you have your name and address on it. It isn’t a fun thing to do but better be sure than sorry later once your identity are stolen and have owe lots of money.

Pain is part of our life but it’s not normal to constantly feel any kinds of pain especially when you know there’s something you can do to make it better other than taking a medicine. Stop the pain now by seeking professional help.

I’ve heard about how painful hernia is and I know it can be treated as well. I’ve seen and read successful cases of herniated and bulging disc surgery on Television and internet. First time is always memorable especially when you do something funny/weird in front of other people. One of my first time experienced that happened recently was being assign as a cashier using an automatic cash registry with a receipt printer. I was kinda scared when it rounds out of paper during the time a customer asked for his copy of the receipt. Of all people it happened on the time where the customer needed his receipt that he got angry when I told him I can’ provide him a receipt. It was really challenge for me as I was already nervous of being in the cash registry and then things like that happened as well. What a day it was.

Seems like Christmas shopping for me isn’t completely over yet. I still have a couple of things I need to buy for someone close to me. It’s hard to shop with kids you know and it’s even harder when your husband is working on your days off and vice versa.

I kinda like what most company or store do on special holiday. They create a holiday gift ideas that help customer pick up presents from electronics, clothing, handbags, etc. Cigars like gurkha cigars would be a great gift for people who smoke too. That would be the easiest thing you can get smoker in your family or friends.

It took us more than 5 hours in the mall and I am still not done yet. It even gets harder especially when you have a limited budget. But you can always squeeze your budget if you have the patience to shop, return and shop for more.

It is sad to know that there are so many families who are mourning for their lost, not only of their belongings and properties but also the loss of their love-ones. My condolences to all the victim of Cagayan de Oro typhoon that kills a lot of people. It was really a sad tragedy that happens a week before Christmas. I even refuse to look at those pictures on the news and face-book where innocent kids are lying dead on the ground after the horrible and killer typhoon.

I can’t count how many times I have experienced the strong and scary typhoons that hit our area since we where kids. Typhoons usually hit Philippines this time of the year. It is just sad to see those disaster when Christmas is just a week from now. I hope and pray that people who have lost their love-ones and property will be able to recover and start again in God’s time.

Sad as it is, but things happens for a reason and only God knows what the reason is.

I can’t imagine how slow it would be to process documents without using high technology. I remember those times where you need to use typewriter for letters and/or forms. Nowadays is a lot easier and faster especially if you use the right tools.

Document management is more manageable, organize and efficient with the use of scanning software and other document management software that’s especially made for those kinds of works. Lucky are those new generation who never experience the slow process of documenting business daily procedures and processing.

I know the mall are busy nowadays especially on weekends but I can’t believe it took us almost an hour to get a parking. We’ve circle around the parking lot, went to parking garage but never found any parking lot available so I have to keep driving around until we’ve finally found one which was hard as it was close by the wall with another car on the right side. It took me couple of try to before I finally park good enough…

The mall was packed no matter where you looked at. It was like in the busy street in the Philippines, which make me miss celebrating Christmas with my family back home. I just hope I would be able to bring my daughter next Christmas in the Philippines so she would be able to experience the spirit of Christmas in the Philippines. I’m sure she would enjoy it and at the same time my family would enjoy seeing her for the very first time…
